Texana Fellowship

in the summer of 2024, several members of the Jackson County community experienced a sense of peace with an aggressive urge from God to construct a Bible centered church that would preserve and adhere to traditional church doctrine with a contemporary worship service style.  The first service was held on July 21, 2024, 16 believers present. With no physical address we first met in a barn which was personal property of one of our congregants. For the month of August we worshiped in the Historic Texana Church at Brackenridge Recreation Complex, averaging forty-five in worship each Sunday. The Global Methodist Church has been selected as our connection/denomination and in September of the same year Texana Fellowship held the initial membership service class and officially identified the churches founders day, September 8, 2024. Finally housed in a brick and mortar structure, located in the heart of downtown Edna, TX we welcomed 38 local Christians committed to  God's authority and now to the Texana Fellowship family.  We believe firmly in watching what God will do when we say yes.
